ONPHA is holding its 2008 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, October 19, 2008, in Ottawa.
Call for Resolutions
ONPHA welcomes resolutions to guide ONPHA’s policies and direction for the coming year. The deadline for submitting resolutions by member organizations is Thursday July 31, 2008.

Call for Nominations for ONPHA's 2008 / 2009 Board of Directors
ONPHA welcomes nominations for the three vacant positions to be filled at this year's Annual General Meeting in Ottawa, Ontario on Sunday, October 19, 2008.
Nominations shall be accepted by the Governance and Membership Committee no later than THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2008, which is 45 days prior to the October 19th Annual General Meeting.
There are three vacant positions to be filled at the 2008 Annual General Meeting. ONPHA's by-laws ensure that the Board of Directors includes representation by region, size of community, private non-profits, municipal non-profits and tenants. One Director may fulfil more than one criterion. In accordance with our by-laws the following positions must be filled this year:
- 1 Tenant representatives
- 1 Rural representative
- 1 At-Large member
It is important that ONPHA's leadership be composed of members with a broad spectrum of experience in the delivery and management of non-profit housing.
CANDIDATES MUST:
- be Regular members of ONPHA in good standing (voting members),
- be a Director, a paid staff person (full time or part time) or a tenant of a Regular member,
- have the support of their organization's Board of Directors,
- be able to serve a three-year term,
- be able to contribute a minimum of twelve to fourteen days toward ONPHA activities on an annual basis, and
- be willing to become involved in other Association activities.
