2008 ONPHA Regional Meetings

This spring, ONPHA is excited to host the 2008 Regional Meetings in 14 communities across the Province. The meetings will be taking place between March 26, 2008 and April 25th, 2008.

Why should I attend an ONPHA Regional Meeting?

This year, in addition to updates from the sector on Smart Meters and the new Annual Information Return (AIR) form, we’ll be talking about ONPHA’s advocacy and involvement in the Province’s new poverty reduction strategy and update you on the Provincial-Municipal Service Delivery Review. We’ll also be unveiling a new partnership between ONPHA and an electronic tendering company. Their service will make tendering for work and services a much simpler and less time consuming exercise!

There will be a session on creating and implementing a preventative maintenance plan and, finally, we’ll be looking for your thoughts and comments on the Residential Tenancies Act. We’ve heard about some of your experiences with this legislation and we’d like to hear more!

Who should attend the Regional Meeting?

Whether you are tenant services or maintenance staff, senior management or someone new to the sector, everyone will find something of interest at the ONPHA Regional Meetings. The cost of attending the meeting is included in your ONPHA membership – all interested staff are welcome!

Space is limited, so please RSVP at least two (2) weeks prior to the meeting that you’d like to attend.
